Eclipse Upload is very simple in the way that it works. Users are able to upload and start sharing their files within seconds. By simply uploading the file, the user is then taken to a page to further configure their upload. After the upload is complete the user is presented with a unique download link which can be shared for downloading.
Upgraded members who have registered will be able to manage their shared files and are presented with many useful features to use at their disposal.
By default, the files uploaded will be publicly available to anyone who could pottentially type the URL in manually. If security is an issue, Eclipse Upload allows upgraded members to password protect their files. Other functionality is present, such as limiting downloads to particular countries and also tracking them via E-Mail.
File Formats
Eclipse Upload attempts to support as many file extentions as possible. There are however many files that are not supported by default due to
less demand. If you wish that a particular file extention is to be supported, please get in touch and we will add support for that extention.
Max Upload Size
Free and unregistered users are limited to uploading files with a maximum size of 20 Megabytes. Silver package members have an increased allowance
to upload files as big as 500 Megabytes. Gold package members have an increased allowance of uploading files as big as 1 Gigabyte. If you feel that
you need support for even bigger files, please get in touch with us as there are plans to support much bigger file size uploading.
If you have any further queries on how the website opperates and works, please do not hesistate to get in touch with us.
